  • automate the PR / commits to bump versions like this, so that we don't have to manually open a PR every time we do a new release
  • consolidate release to a single workflow that has 4 jobs:
    • job 1: version bump
    • job 2: does release to github
    • job 3: does release to pypi
    • job 4: updates the docs site
