Is there any way for me to bet subscription service going?

Is there any way through github pages for people to subscribe to find out updates or additions of new articles? Probably not directly and this would be advantage of a blogging site, but if there is a way, try to to figure it out. might be that I use wordpress just to take the subscription or something..but probably people would smell the security threat that way.
