New G4 Keyboard. I'm able to connect it to a windows 10 machine and update the firmware without issue

On Linux (both ubuntu and arch with the aur) it says the keyboard is disconnected. Tried basic troubleshooting. I'm typing this on the linux box and the keyboard's volume control and sleep button work fine. I'm able to run Q and login, browse plugins etc.

Any ideas?

Exact same issue. I just received my new Das Keyboard X50 and the profiles work just fine on Windows 10. However, under Linux, the keyboard shows as disconnected from both Ubuntu and Arch Linux using the das-keyboard-q software. I'm running version 3.3.3. I can see the keyboard registered under lsusb correctly and the service is up and running. Any help here would be great.

Also, as a side note, signing into the cloud service with sync my profiles turned on wipes out all the keyboard profiles. But this is a problem for another day, I just want to get the software working.

just return it imo - it doesn't work on linux. Even if you get things working it lags so your typing is behind making it impossible to use.

That's unfortunate. I don't have any lag or issues using my X50Q with linux. Does the lag happen once you get the das-keyboard-q software connected and working or does your keyboard just lag in general?
