No effect on some website

I have looked into the html code of the page and I don't see any URL attached, only a reference ?!?

If you can make this work, it would be very useful, browsing technical literature and can't open the PDF into a new tab to compare some stuff, very frustrating.

I've noticed this as well. For instance on Disneyplus.com, you search for a movie, then trying to ctrl+click, results in a normal click, no new tab. Middle mouse starts the scroll with mouse control thing. And right clicking doesn't even show the "open in new tab" option.
