@BryanJBryce Pretty much, yes. I don't think the approach is necessarily the best one. The problem doesn't seem to require a DSL, and I'm not personally using this library.

Sorry to drag up an old issue, but can you elaborate at all on what approach you prefer? I haven't spent a lot of time with Twilio, but this project felt exactly like what I needed.

I think you can achieve much the same results with simple HTTP controllers in a framework like Plug or Phoenix, rendering XML templates. Many developers would find it more intuitive to work with, and there'd be no DSLs to learn or maintain.
