CentOS7 with libreoffice from packages, stock python and unoconv 0.7.
If I run unoconv as 'apache' use either from the command line or from PHP the conversion works but the resulting pdf file is now owned by root:root.
I'm a bit surprised by this and I'm struggling to understand why. It completely breaks PHP use as I now don't have permission to delete the file again.
Any thoughts about what might be going on?

...answering my own question (!)... I already had a libreoffice-headless process running as root. Unoconv was clearly picking that up. I don't know where it came from but that's what it was.
This might be more of a question...
