Cannot select firmware

Now that https://retrode.org is inaccessible, the only way to update firmware is by loading it manually from the filesystem. I am not sure how to do that, as the "Select Firmware" menu is greyed out.

Which macOS version are you using? I might be able to help you out.

I don't know why it went down. Last I checked, Stone Age Gamer still lists the product, though it looks like it is currently out of stock.

I am using MacOS 12.2 (21D49).

As a workaround, I was able to use dfu-programmer to update the firmware via the terminal, but I'm down to help with a fix if I can 👍🏻

Has been for many years. The old wordpress installation and forum were so plagued by attacks that I couldn't get on top of it and eventually took them down. However, I can put a static firmware page in the right place to ensure operation of the utility. I'd have to know which URLs exactly the utility is accessing.
