Virtualbox kills the desktop enviremenet

Virtualbox 6.1.30 and 6.1.36's Debian 11 versions twords the end of the install process just kill the de. Happened both on my laptop and a vm. I installed 6.1.36 with "sudo apt install path.deb" and it worked fine, but though here it just killed the de. I haven't had any other deb act like this, not sure if it's a vbox specific thing or not.
