CROSS_BASE_IMAGE should be passed but not pass, which is weird, I didn't find this problem on other machines.

Definitely need more context, is this docker? What version? How does cross start the container engine (use -v)

It's failed due to my python3.8:arm64 installation failure, but this does not happen on other machines, so it's weird to me.

Ok, then thats a difderent unrelated error, the warning does not contribute to the build failure. Whats the error youre actually getting that caused you to create this discussion? I feel like we should close this and then you can open a new issue with the error youre having, providing the error message and how to reproduce it

I think it's due to incorrect base image, so I can not install python3.8-dev:arm64, and it's due to Args not passing, I can make a minimal reproduce repo later.
