Description

A user is permitted to see all the filters for every entry type. Can this be set to display only the filters of entry types the user is allowed to see.

Unfortunately this isn’t possible at the moment. We might be able to tackle it alongside field-level permissions though. (#947)

Perhaps to decouple this from specific users -- would it be possible to at least add an option to field settings, if a field should be available as a sortable for any user? Especially on "all entries"-views for larger sites, that dropdown fills up quite quickly with all sorts of irrelevant fields.
