The user actions (gear) menu contains the options
Copy activation URL…
andCopy impersonation URL…
. Neither of these items really do what they say. Both options actually display the URL and require a further click to actually copy it.Despite the ellipses implying further actions, I often click the option then tab away to do some further action with the copied URL before realising I still need to perform the copy action.
Whilst this is an extremely minor inconvenience – and perhaps it's only me – I think the UX standard would be for the button to say exactly what it does. So I propose that a slight change to the language would remove any chance of confusion completely:
Copy activation URL…
becomesGet activation URL…
Copy impersonation URL…
becomesGet impersonation URL…
This is also in line with the Orders action menu which has the option
Share cart…
(not "Copy cart URL") followed by the copy dialogue.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
