Provide a file() function like the one in Terraform (https://developer.hashicorp.com/terraform/language/functions/file):

file reads the contents of a file at the given path and returns them as a string.

See implementation in terraform

Example:

json_decode(file("./project_conf.json"))[request.json_body.pid]...
