Integrate the indexmenu. There are some people who likes a automatically generated menu, managed with ACL.
One problem with the indexmenu is, a seperately inserted link does not look good in a sidebar integrated with indexmenu.
When the indexmenu would be integrated itself nicely so it blends good in with external links (set as list? Marked as h1?)

Manually created is nice, ofc, but its not good when some pages are not accessible via ACL.

The suggestions sounds reasonable. Is there a chance it is considered?

We use the index menu extensively on our dokuwikis. After successfully using the material template for a bit, I switched to sprintdoc a few hours ago. Our automatically generated index menu just works out of the box - no glitches, no customization necessary .What ever issue there may have been, it apparently got fixed. :-)

I can't get it to run right now. I mean, at all. What settings do you use?

I used for the indexmenu {{indexmenu>.#2|js#drktheme navbar nocookie}} with
grafik and this does not work.

We use:
{{indexmenu>.#1 |js#index-iq.png tsort msort nsort notoc}}

The dokuwiki server itself is still on "greebo". Is your wiki on version "hogfather" already? If so, did you set the global flag defer_js to false? Apparently, indexmenu fails on hogfather if this flag is set to true.

I updated yesterday to Hogfather and i deactivated the "defer_js" flag as mentioned (you will get a warning on top of the screen it is better to do that, but it works anyway). Basically right now indexmenu is not working at all with sprintdoc unfortunately under Hogfather. Tried with your indexmenu as well.
Looks like that
grafik

Will go back to the manually set navigation :) Thanks anyways.

Just to clarify, in general a autogenerated Menu works, but i want to look it like that

grafik

With the last points added manually. And thats what does (did?) not work at all, unfortunately :/ It wasn't possible to autogenerate the menu AND add links manually.
