Description

I'm trying to use vscode devcontainers with Podman (podman-remote) over ssh. It works with Docker, but fails with Podman.

I've posted this as bug in the vscode issues, but also wanted to created a reference to this issue here as Podman aims for Docker compatibility. (Feel free to close if not relevant).

there are several problems why this doesn’t work (perhaps not all identified), another one is #7360
