Can't change install location in new Windows installer #16265
Comments
@n1hility has created a new Windows installer that should be signed - that is the EXE. The legacy MSI installer will no longer be used from now on. |
thanks for sharing... How can I set a "custom install dir" with the current EXE?
|
Hey @AntonOks the install folder is currently not configurable/overridable. I can patch this for the next release. Will link the PR |

@n1hility - fyi ;) Hey GH-actions bot, we wait for the fix in the next release :P |
Hi.
The podman Windows releases were once MSI installer files, now it's a EXE.
I haven't found any related announcement or explanation.
Whats the strategy here? How will Windows releases look in the future?
Regards
