Solution to issue cannot be found in the documentation.

  • I checked the documentation.

Issue

A user reported that the arrow package creates new files upon activation, and thus adds files into downstream packages built by conda-build or rattler-build. Should we not create these "debug" files when building downstream packages (e.g. by looking at the CONDA_BUILD env variable?

ref: prefix-dev/rattler-build#979

@maresb has been the master of the activation script here, perhaps he feels up to it. ;-)
