Maintainers should be able to delete a package.

Accidentally clicked submit twice, so I closed this issue.

I just liked the irony of having to remove a duplicate issue about deleting stuff, no problem ;)

I think this should be possible. I've just changed a name of a package and the old package continues on Packagist.

@pablodip let me know which, I'll delete the old one, but this should not be done in theory since you're messing with people that might be using your package.

@Seldaek You should delete this: http://packagist.org/packages/pablodip/fletador I know it's messing, but fortunately nobody was using the package yet. Cheers :)

Alright done, thanks for telling us.

I think the best option here would be to simply allow package maintainers the option of hiding the package from Packagist searches but to always leave the package pages themselves.
