Contributor License Agreement for pycollimator

This Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Collimator, Inc. ("Collimator") and the individual or entity submitting a Contribution to the pycollimator project ("Contributor").

  1. Definitions. "Contribution" means any source code, object code, patch, tool, sample, graphic, specification, manual, documentation, or any other material submitted by Contributor to the pycollimator project.

  2. Grant of Copyright License. Contributor hereby assigns to Collimator all copyright ownership in Contributor's Contributions. Contributor agrees that all Contributions will be the exclusive property of Collimator.

  3. Grant of Patent License. Contributor hereby grants to Collimator and to recipients of software distributed by Collimator a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Contribution, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s) with the pycollimator project to which such Contribution(s) was submitted.

  4. Representation. Contributor represents that they are legally entitled to grant the above license. If Contributor's employer(s) has rights to intellectual property that Contributor creates that includes Contributor's Contributions, Contributor represents that they have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer or that the employer has waived such rights for Contributor's Contributions to Collimator.

  5. Support. Contributor is not expected to provide support for Contributions, except to the extent Contributor desires to provide support.

  6. No Obligation. You acknowledge that Collimator is under no obligation to use or incorporate your Contributions into any of the Projects. The decision to use or incorporate your Contributions into any of the Projects will be made at the sole discretion of SAP or its authorized delegates.

  7. License Terms. Collimator reserves all rights to relicense the Contribution or the pycollimator project, in whole or in part, under any licensing terms it chooses. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to relicense under different open-source licenses or proprietary licenses, and to use the Contributions in other projects or products.

  8. Disclaimer. Contributor provides the Contribution on an "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

By submitting a Contribution to the pycollimator project, Contributor indicates agreement to the terms of this Agreement.
