Hi,
there is new editor on the horizon, that is getting a momentum called lapce
will be possible to port codespell to it ?

Lots of things are possible with adequate effort. Note that codespell currently checks files and/or stdin, not a buffer in memory.

You could try to adapt this function to operate both on files/stdin and a buffer in memory, not only files/stdin:

def parse_file(

But then Lapce is written in Rust, and codespell is written in Python. It might be simpler to start from scratch, reusing the dictionaries of typos of codespell.

Edit : Or not. codespell can read from stdin, see #3224 for example.

Perhaps Language Server Protocol (LSP) is of interest.
