It'd be great to know the performance of a particular disaster notification e.g. reach (how many people viewed? How many people contacted and by which channels?)
One of the difficulties noted by the City of San Jose was a lack of insight into what action people took after being notified of a disaster.
One way to help address this is add some interactive components for the end user on a disaster post, maybe some buttons to click acknowledge a post or mark it as unclear or share feedback on a post to the admins.
This feature would take a good deal of work and it doesn't seem to be the primary concern, but this could be a target for future extension.
