max identification string size exceeded

i have an issue when i try to connect to my ibm i server, i get this message 'max identification string size exceeded'. any one can help me to connect plz?

We've had this a few times now and I am still not sure. I know it's related to another library we use. I've raised the issue there.

Me too.

1. connet to an IBM i
2. input "Name" "IP Address", change Port to 23, username, password, no key file .
3. press connect
4. get that message

Change prot to 22 moment ago, report "No response from server"

@worksofliam is this caused by people trying to connect to the telnet port?... can't try it out myself as only have PUB400 access
