Hi Codecov,

Recently, our team has reset the commit history of our repo (https://github.com/drasi-project/drasi-core), and we changed our visibility shortly after that.

We have noticed that base commit history of codecov points to an old commit, which does not belong to the repository anymore.

Is there any way to reset this base commit to point to a new one? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing codecov but that did not work. This is also probably the cause to #1602

@ruokun-niu sorry for the delay on this one, I don't believe it's possible to retroactively update the base commits in the commit history. Is this still a problem moving forward or only for older commits?

Closing this out, let me know if this is still an issue @ruokun-niu
