[Action] Contributor Recognition

Description

Currently we don't have a way to properly recognize contributions that aren't organizational positions or talks at events like Sustainability Week.

Potential Options dicussed

• Credly Badges
  • Would need clearly defined metrics
  • Need to evaluate scaling as this needs to go through the CNCF/LF and is therefore a lot of work
• Contributor of the Month
• #shares channel in Slack
• Shoutout contributions on Social Media

Caveats

• We haven't seen something similar on other projects yet
• We will need to ask for consent of the recognized party beforehand

Outcome

Having a way to recognize contributions that don't meet the aforementioned criteria.
