Launching this via an issue, per TAG meeting discussions.

Thanks, I just reached out internally asking about templates for this. I'm looking to draft something next week.

HH and Jay are interested in working on it as well

Is Google Docs a good place to collaborate on a draft? (or hackmd.io maybe?) I'm happy to start a shared doc.

It's probably easiest to pick something that lets you write in markdown, since the WG charter will need to be in markdown ultimately. I thought gdocs can do markdown now but otherwise I've always used hackmd for this stuff.

I created https://hackmd.io/team/tag-cs-mentoring-wg as a shared space for us to coordinate on a folder of document, to eventually sync into PRs.

Moved draft charter to: https://hackmd.io/_WGoJ7FlS8eYlSHeXwjp3A

As per the request in last week's tag-cs meeting, I've copied the draft charter over from hackmd to gdoc for TOC review:

/lgtm

We'll coordinate on when to propose it to TOC.

Since this has been approved now, here’s the schedule for the Mentoring WG, and the meeting minutes
