It can take up to 30s or so to bring up the available topics when switching to a new release tab. It would be very helpful to show the standard 'spinning wheel' on the web page to show that the page is fetching data and not just empty.

Agreed. I also acknowledge the performance problem itself and consider it as to be fixed.
