PyBlazon should have an option to render the blazon on a flag instead of a 
shield.

Do you suggest other shapes too, like lozenges? The shield assumption appears 
to be quite deeply embedded and won't be easy to change.

Indeed. This would probably have to wait until a rewrite, or issue 29.
