Having an encoder on a 1:1 ratio to the spindle, and a relation from this to the lead screw, would it be possible to have a digital readout of the carriage positioning? Supposing I can set a starting point as 0,00, and setting required distance. (See issue #232 from Kwakers), where the lead screw would stop.
Any ideas or hints as to see if this is possible?
