what

  • Added Prometheus cloudwatch exporter addon with multiple authentications like secrets and role based authentication.
  • Added parameter for secret and service account authentication with AWS.

why

  • A Prometheus exporter for Amazon CloudWatch.
  • To extract the metrics from the AWS accounts like ec2, ecr, dynamodb, LB etc, and scrape it into the prometheus.
