Drag and drop between item #2060
Comments
Thanks! That's certainly a valid feature request. I'd like to see this myself as well. |
My organization also needs drag/drop functionality but for widgets as well. Our users need to be able to drag content around in the editor and drop it at any position they want (w/the text caret moving along with their position while they choose where to drop it). They also need to be able to drag content into the editor from an outside source but that's less of a priority. @Reinmar would that fall under this or some other existing feature request or would it make sense for me to create a new one? For reference here is our implementation of this feature using Ckeditor4. |
Would love to see this implemented. It's supported in Evernote too: Ideally this feature (dropping between blocks) should work with or without handles, and with multiple lines selected, and with arbitrary widgets as described in this issue: #2664 |

Like when you do a PR in GITHUB, you can move a line up to another one by clicking on a drag-handle.
In github it's only for list item but in notion it's on all the content for exemple.
If you have a direction to do, i can do it myself but I don't really know where to start
