It's that time of the year again (see #127)
https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/timeline

Yesterday, Google started accepting applications for mentoring orgs. Applications close Feb 19.

Already, Google is supporting Data Packages integration, but there is still a lot on the hopper that can use some GSOC love.

Ontodia will submit as a mentoring organization for Integrated Data Enrichment (#151), primarily, for integrating geocoding/geo-enrichment into the publishing workflow.

The main idea is to allow enrichment using other datasets/maps in the catalog - e.g. previously uploaded GeoJSON of Business Improvement Districts(BID) in jurisdiction is used to enrich a new dataset, not only with lat/longs, but with name of BID.

Some preliminary work has already been done, and we're calling it the "Dog-fooding Geocoder" :)
