许多 “民主” 的鼓吹者总是试图忽略标题所述的事实，从而攻击中国所代表的社会体制。

西方民主的覆盖范围只包含资产阶级，即那些私自占有生产资料，并通过雇佣无产者工人来剥削其剩余价值的老板、董事、投资人等。表面上这些所谓的 “民主国家” 假惺惺地给其每个公民都赋予了投票的权力，但通过控制候选人的产生、发布铺天盖地的政治广告、在社交媒体上制造信息茧房等手段，令选民根本无法向他们所真正想要的候选人投票。就像 2016 年的大选一般，有个叫 Bernie Sanders 的议员参选总统，他的政治目标是要均衡美国国内贫富不均的社会矛盾，但因为动了资产阶级的蛋糕，在本来具有一定优势的情况下被退出了选举。
中国的民主制度采用了人民代表大会作为实现，从每个城市到全国都建设了人民代表的组织。这个制度的目的就是要代表全国人民的意见，而不是少数资产阶级的意见。正是这样的制度，才能通过全国性的扶贫政策，而不像美国那样坐视穷人破产、流浪、自杀而富人们却能 “自由” 地大发国难财。
对于那些反对资本主义的人，西方政府会囚禁他们、污名化他们、刺杀他们。在这些年，我们看到了多少记者被杀？更何况那些美国公开承认刺杀的军官、科学家！
中国的确存在问题，但她的问题是共产主义革命的胜利果实被资产阶级窃夺，而不是所谓不自由不民主。
