Basically the same as before, I'm asking for funding for a 67.0.0 release. A big thank you to all those who had pledged funding through BountySource Salt, I've adjusted the target to take into account your generous contributions.

If the set BountySource target is not met then all is not lost, you can of course use the CI Builds that are available from https://www.myget.org/gallery/cefsharp or alternatively build your own Nuget packages and host then on your local feed. As a thank you to those who have contributed through BountySource Salt I will continue to upgrade master to newer CEF builds.

Bountysource

If you'd like to made a donation through Paypal directly, that's also welcomed, happy to reduce the target accordingly.

Release 67.0.0-pre01

When 50% of target reached

Release 67.0.0

When 100% of target reached

Quite a bit of work has already been done, you can track the progress https://github.com/cefsharp/CefSharp/milestone/35

Constructive comments welcome.

Now that I'm a stay at home dad your contributions are the only reason I'm allowed to continue working on the project. If the target isn't met then I will continue to update master to newer versions of CEF as a number of kind backers have made recurring monthly contributions through https://salt.bountysource.com/teams/cefsharp. I will then only be answering questions and fixing bugs for those backers. The reality is that I will have to put the time that I'm currently spending on this project into finding other work.

Would you be willing to launch a Patreon to let people donate that way on a recurring basis?

Would you be willing to launch a Patreon to let people donate that way on a recurring basis?

@AluminiumTech I had great hopes for Patreon when I launched a campaign to fund the 63.0.x release. I spent ages settings up the targets, people very generously started donating, then Patreon suspended my account due to Suspected Fraud, I reached out to them in an attempt to resolve the issue, asked what exactly was Fraudulent, basically they didn't want to know me. One of the contributors then a week or so later had his account suspended, he went through the same process in an attempt to resolve the issue, no luck, I believe they deleted his account and refunded all his previous donations to all the projects that he'd been sponsoring over the last few years. The chat history on https://gitter.im/cefsharp/CefSharp has the blow by blow account as it happened. Tried to be as transparent as possible. Unfortunately was unable to resolve the problem with Patreon.

I'm reluctant to try Patreon again, though I guess if there is enough call for it then I can see if it's possible to create a new page.

Recurring contributions can be made currently through https://salt.bountysource.com/ though I understand that lots of people are already using Patreon and that would be more convenient.

@amaitland Yeah, I'd definitely prefer a Patreon. Could you try to re-launch yours?

@AluminiumTech I'll have a look at the options. Thanks for showing interest 😄

Thanks to everyone who has donated directly, I've adjusted the target down. Half the original target has now been met, so I'll release -pre01 in the next day or two.

@amaitland I'd like to make a direct donation through Paypal to thank you for all the hard work on CefSharp. How can I do that?
