CHROME - Thumbnails inside thread load for a split second and then disappear (Not Werk Time enabled)

I am using Chrome. This is a bit weird but almost out of nowhere this started happening. I believe it started happening when the new update was rolled out yesterday?(I got a banner telling me 4chanX was updated but there are no new changelogs so I dunno) but I have no idea. When I enter a thread the thumbnails load for like a split second, but once the page finishes loading (quick reply and the jump buttons appear) the thumbnails disappear, as if it were Werk Time.

I didnt move anything so no idea whats going on. I tried to see if the same problem happened on Brave browser but 4chan X works normally there. Thumbnails work normally if I turn 4chan X off

Disabling my Urban VPN Proxy extension seems to have fixed it

dang, did the same and it seems to work. no idea what urban is doing then. I had it enabled but no using it atm
