Dualsense not working

When plugging in the Dualsense controller, the controller's LED light glows orange but then turns off, but the Switch doesn't detect inputs from it.

Just in case, I tested other controllers, such as a DS4 and Xbox One controller, and those worked fine.

Strangely, if I go to the controller pairing menu, and leave the Dualsense plugged in but plug in the DS4, the Dualsense's sticks work, but not any buttons. The DS4 doesn't work however and everything needs to be unplugged in order for the DS4 to work again.
