print statements appear in solution to adding comments to code exercise without explanation

There are a number of print statements added to the code in the solution to the "Add comments to our code" exercise in the code readability section. There was no mention of adding print statements in the exercise description or preceding text, just talk about adding comments. I admit the print statements can be useful to understand what is happening as the program runs or as a debugging aid, but perhaps this could be done in an extra exercise and explained.
