Figures are provided by each repository. Most of them don't need translation. For keeping things easier I would leave them as they are.

I think that we should leave to a case by case decision. Some examples:

  • third party figure, you might not be able to translate;
  • figure with file system, you should translate if you are using the file system in another language;
  • figure with commands, you should not translate the commands.

The problem at the moment is that the way I'm building the lessons it only provide support to translate the md files. I have to investigate into translations of svg files. It seems is possible with XLIFF; there's also a gnome tool: xml2po that it could work
