Worked for me, with one deprecation warning, on 8.2 today.

I don't see any mention of PHP 8 in the commit history, and the most recent commit is 21 months ago. This isn't a criticism, just an observation. I'm trying it on a PHP 8.0 server today, and I haven't seen any problems so far.

I think this can be closed as 7.1.0 fixed some PHP 8.2 issues.
