OCR not working on wild creatures because of missing xp-bar #293
Comments
Hi, is this a fullscreen-screenshot? It has a resolution of 1920 x 1032, the default OCR is calibrated to a vertical pixel-size of 1080, so everything is offset by around 50 px, resulting in some shifting of the read stats. If that is your used screen-resolution, you can adjust the OCR-labels in the OCR-tab, then choose the labels-tab. Here's some more info about calibrating the OCR. |
It's not a fullscreen screenshot, I left out my windows bad at the bottom, you can see that my hotbar is cut off about halfway... The weird thing is that the OCR sometimes works and sometimes pulls it in like that, hence the confusion |
Though, to be clear, I am playing in windowed fullscreen 1920 x 1080 |
Can you make a screenshot of the whole screen and post it here if that happens again? The resolution of windows has to be 1920 x 1080, I found out the ingame resolution doesn't matter. |
The issue is that pre tame health and below fields are up one row due to missing xp bar |
@thaweed nice catch. I've never seen the xp-bar missing. |
He, is right it is pre-tame but that still shouldn't affect the extraction process itself |
I will take another screenshot in a bit, from what I've noticed so far the problem only happens sometimes when the bar for that stat is not filled (eg Health: 793/1200) the old OCR then skipped that stat and put in the value from the next one. I'll see if it still happens with the new version and let you know. |
Hi, the issue is indeed the missing xp-bar. The new UI doesn't has fixed positions for the stats, it will arrange them according to their existance. E.g. a creature without oxygen has the stats below oxygen shifted one stat upwards. To solve this issue a new parameter has to be introduced in the extraction-process. It's on the todo list. Thanks for the report. |
Happy to help ^^ |
The OCR has so far been unable to correctly extract the values as it gets confused as to which values are for which stats. Screenshot below.
