Unknown file detected when opening a legacy file on cadnano2 #196

I would like to open a file that was designed on Cadnano1 in cadnano2. However, every time I try to open it I get the error "Unknown file detected". Afterwards, the cadnano2 program crashes. Are there any fixes for this?
