Install and build direction would be nice. Build fails for me:

autoreconf
automake --add-missing
./configure
checking for release date...
checking that generated files are newer than configure... done
configure: creating ./config.status
.in'ig.status: error: cannot find input file: `
make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
