tag versions of gems in source repo

It would very useful to be able to look in this repo for example for changes between version of the tool installed via gem (ex: see the git log or git diff between 1.7.17 and 1.7.16).

The convention right now is that a commit comment indicates a release.
See https://github.com/cabo/kramdown-rfc/commits/master/, which also gives you the commit comments for what changed (here, just one commit, but it often is more than one).

Maybe try
https://my.diffend.io/gems/kramdown-rfc/1.7.16/1.7.17
for a quick look at a diff between two given gem releases.
Of course, since most changes are in the nested kramdown-rfc2629 gem,
https://my.diffend.io/gems/kramdown-rfc2629/1.7.16/1.7.17
is a bit more interesting.
