Flatpak support #770
Comments
Yes, I'd like to distribute a Flatpak version, though I don't know when it will happen. Related comment: #96 (comment) |
I'd love to have flatpak support as well if possible. Currently I'm running the appimage on Fedora Silverblue, and manually created my own Desktop file. The appimage isn't bad, but updates through flathub are one of the biggest selling points for a flatpak in my opinion. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'd be happy to help out in some way to make it happen as well. |
That's the one thing I'm missing |
@refi64 Here's my first attempt at getting it on Flathub: flathub/flathub#4558 |
Here it is! 🎉 https://flathub.org/apps/com.budgetwithbuckets.Buckets However, I'm not going to close this issue until I've updated the release process to also release new versions on Flathub |
It's now automated as part of the release process |
Hello!
I love Budgeting with Buckets, and the only thing I missing is the Flatpak support.
Flatpak is more seamless than available AppImage, allows us to update through Flathub, and make it easier to install on immutable desktops like Fedora Silverblue.
Could you consider packing buckets as Flatpak?
Cheers.
