Not getting any ad notifications on Linux anymore

Description

I used to receive Brave Ads notifications. I have had them enabled since the beginning:

but since the upgrade to 1.0(?) I no longer get any ad notifications.

Also, the Ad history is useless because the timestamp is broken (1969):

False alarm, I just got one:

They do appear to be fairly infrequent, so I've bump the frequency to 3 per hours.

Not sure what "rejected" (instead of "viewed") means.

@fmarier could be a problem trying to display the ad notification itself? Maybe it got an error while trying to display?

We do have an issue tracking something like this (see #6569)

@fmarier Did you see the notification, as it could be there are no more ads that can be currently shown as you may have seen all available ads at this time based upon your browsing? Happy to have a screen-share to diagnose

@fmarier I have tested on Ubuntu 19.04 and 19.10 and the 7-day history dates are showing as expected:

I'm experiencing these problems (rare Brave ads notifications and the timestamp 31/12/1969, as in #6088) on Ubuntu 19.04, with Brave Browser 78.1.0.1.

I'm seeing them now. This appears to be resolved for me.
