Description

When attempting to export my private keys for a pair of accounts I have in brave's wallets app (brave://wallet), I was presented with an error:
image

I am sure that my password is correct. I downloaded a fresh installation on a separate computer and created a dummy account with the password 12345678 and the issue persisted.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Attempt to export the private key of a wallet in brave://wallets by going to the wallet you want to export, the triple dot, Account Details, Export Private key.
  2. Enter the password that you created the account with.
  3. See that an "incorrect password" error is displayed and two errors are logged to the console.

Actual result:

Private key is not displayed; two errors are logged to the developer console.

Expected result:

I can export my private keys.

Reproduces how often:

Easily reproduced on two laptops, initially encountered on one install I have been using for a couple of months (basically the same version information as below, latest build) and one completely fresh install downloaded today.
