Description

With the addition of #11658 users will be able to hide NTP elements, but any top-site tracking will likely still occur in the background. We should have an option in Settings to disable NTP tracking overall.

What is the reason that no actions have been taken in addressing this privacy issue? It's an awful issue that has been overlooked for almost a year after it has been reported. Brave is a privacy browser, users must be given a way to disable all kind of unwanted tracking. The Android version comes with preset top sites that can't be changed anyhow, and in addition to that users can't disable the tracking those websites commit, which is a huge issue for one privacy browser. Please, be kind enough to assign an appropriate priority to this huge privacy issue yet, it's a huge pity I had to write such a comment.
