I'm a software engineer with a focus on backend services and systems design. I prefer brevity, explicitness and self discovery in my tools, and have consequently grown to love Rust, Go, HTMX, and Tailwind, among a myriad of other daily utilities.

My repos are typically experiments or incomplete side-projects, but sometimes include actual projects. My public projects generally fall into one these themes:
- testing a hypothesis
- assist in learning something new
- explore a creative idea/scenario
A few projects that I really enjoy and want to highlight are:
- Today I Learned (serverless- give it a sec to cold-start)
- Airbrake Rust (inactive)
- Status-Page Monitor (inactive)
- Postgres Virtual Tables
- Loot Generator
- Test Galaxy Map
- pgzan (zanzibar pg extension for row level security)
I've also published a couple rust packages! π¦
- π¦ default_aware a crate for better handling default values created through deserialization
- π¦ prefixed-api-key a crate for generating seam style api tokens
My professional work is typically closed source but a few projects I can proudly share are:
