[CLOSED] Brackets won't quit with unsaved changes in multiple windows. #8994

Originally opened as adobe/brackets#10138


  1. Make some changes in a document.
  2. Open a second Brackets window from Debug > New Brackets Window.
  3. Press Ctrl/Cmd-Q to quit.
  4. Click Don't Save when prompted to save in the first window.

Result: Brackets doesn't quit. If you repeat step 2 and 3, then Brackets quit without prompting you to save in the first document window.

git bisect points to changes in #7930. So@peterflynn is right in his question 2 of this comment to revert the unnecessary changes in fixing the cef 1750 crash.

Multiple Windows isn't a typical thing but since this is a recent regression and related to CEF 2171 integration and the 1750 crasher then we should try to resolve it for 1.1
