Today after user Brackets for a little while I quit, then then re-launched it - only to find it would not launch. I tried clearing the cache and opening from command-line but neither worked. Trying to launch after clearing the cache makes the cache folder return but that's all. The only way I could launch at all is when I selected Run as Administrator.
I'm using Windows 8.1

@hvanhoose That is a little strange. Maybe Brackets did not quit and is still running in the background and that is why a new instance of Brackets is unable to start (as we just quit from the new instance if there is an already running instance). Let us know if you run into this issue again and if at all you run into this issue again, please check the task manager to see if there are any instances of Brackets already running.
