Originally opened as adobe/brackets#9781

Currently, you cannot request the registry.json (https://s3.amazonaws.com/extend.brackets/registry.json) file from another domain. This prevents sites such as http://brackets-themes.github.io/ from getting information about all themes on load.

I would expect this resource to be publicly available.

Brackets Themes has an issue open that would work best with this functionality: Brackets-Themes/brackets-themes.github.io#18
