I'm an't get it to work. I keep seeing this on the logs:

Do you have iCloud Advanced Data Protection (https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT212520) on by any chance? Seems like this may be culprit as per #109 (comment)

work AND have ADP o

icloudpd downloads photos emulating web access. ADP blocks web access by default. ADP seems to allow enabling web access for short period of time (~1hr), so you may try that path.
